The Jacquline Annis School of Dance at the Carnival Picture of Clacton Carnival Saturday 11th August 2007
Introduction
The 'Jacqueline Annis School Of Dance' was founded in 1978 specialising in
Ballet, Tap and Modern Theatre.
The School has also enjoyed performing it's own productions of shows,
presented at the Princes Theatre, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex and in recent years over £10,000 has been raised for charity. Amongst the charities
receiving donations have been The Great Ormond Street Hospital for sick children, the Roy Castle Appeal and our local hospice, St
Helena.
The School continues with its highly successful examination results and we
strive for a balance of expert tuition but at the same time realise the importance of sheer enjoyment of dance, in all its
aspects.
"Open Days" are arranged when parents and grandparents are encouraged to come
into the School to see their children; an event which is looked forward to with much enthusiasm by the children.
Children from 3 years of age can be accepted into the school.
