As an established "Task Fulfilment House" Oakwood Pack provide realistic and meaningful training, enabling

members to achieve their vocational potential through enterprise or a pathway to supported employment.

Company Profile

Oakwood Pack It In is an employment training co-operative and developing enterprise,

offering vocational opportunities to adults with Learning Disabilities in the Tendering

area. The site is an industrial unit on Gorse Lane / Stephenson Road Industrial area

near Clacton's Factory Shopping Village.

Pack It In Specialises in Providing a range of Light Industrial assembly services to local

companies predominantly, although valuable contracts further a field in London are

maintained and explored. Collection and delivery service is provided, and work undertaken

includes sorting, packing, labelling, reclamation, full and part assembly, gluing, collating,

separating, comb binding, drilling, folding etc.

Members attending Pack It In work in all aspects of service delivery. The site provides an

opportunity for work assessment, experience and training in a sheltered working environment,

a stepping stone to open and supported employment, and the opportunity for achieving

vocational qualification in the workplace.

45 adults with Learning Difficulties train at Pack It In (30 approximately a day). They benefit

from participation in a real and rewarding way in building a project where their skill and

contribution can be given recognition and true value. The enterprise will offer a realistic

working environment where members can achieve financial  reward, autonomy and choice,

and develop confidence and self esteem.
